Adult Reading Challenge
February 1, 2023 – January 31, 2024
Join our annual reading challenge! NPL is challenging you to various tasks that will expand your horizons by introducing you to new authors, new genres, and new books.
The 12-month-long challenge begins February 1 and consists of different reading tasks like reading a retelling of a classic book or reading a book by or about Dolly Parton.
Complete all the tasks and receive a $10 gift certificate to Bella’s Books!
Expand Your Horizons: Junior
Kids Reading Challenge
February 1, 2022 – January 31, 2023
Kids are invited to start a new reading adventure in February. Expand Your Horizons: Junior is the reading challenge just for kids.
The challenge is to complete fun tasks that introduce young readers to new genres, formats, and favorites. Tasks include reading a book with a pirate in it and reading something from a library display.
Complete all the tasks and receive a $5 gift certificate to Bella’s Books!

Group members can chat with other participants, ask questions, find and give reading suggestions, and view book lists and task ideas.
Reading books only from NPL’s collection or having a Nappanee Public Library card is not a requirement to participate.
